Hi, I’m Vivi Ortelli.
I am the founder of Tangopolitan, and your local host!
Though I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, I have lived in the United States for thirty one years. I majored in Industrial Design at Universidad de Buenos Aires, and later became a certified English – Spanish interpreter. I now share my time between my homes in Minneapolis, MN and Buenos Aires.
In addition to my South American birthplace, I have visited and/or lived throughout the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.

Let’s get it right: I am not a travel agent. I am a lover of people and of my hometown, and I enjoy bringing those two loves together.
Based on this, I designed the Tango State experience, with the goal of showing you the hidden gems of my city and creating a genuine and inspiring experience. Using my connections and knowledge of Buenos Aires, I have created an exquisite and transformative journey for anyone to take.
